Glen Bernard offers the opportunity for campers to explore their creative side through the Arts and Crafts and Theatre programs. Campers can craft a stain glass project, make a pendant with the lapidary machines, create a papier mache masterpiece, learn to throw a pot on the pottery wheel or build a wood project in our woodshop.
Campers in Periods 1 & 2 have the option of participating in a theatre production which is performed at the end of the session. Singing is a part of many GBC activities, from campfires in the Glen to singing camp favourites in the dining hall after a meal!
Earth Education is a very important activity at GBC. The program focuses on understanding different aspects of the environment around us, our impact on it, and how we may influence the future. Sometimes the best moments at camp are sharing a sunset with a friend, listening to the waves hit the shore or star gazing at night. Campers enjoy exploring the natural world and discovering the beauty and fragility of our environment.
