Outdoor Centre
For Teachers
A trip to GBOC gives students a unique opportunity to live and learn together. At workshops and activities, students explore how to make positive choices for themselves, each other and the environment. Teachers may gain new insights into group dynamics and maximizing student potential. Come and share the excitement with students in the classroom without walls!

The sample program outlines a typical four day trip to GBOC: camp activities, outdoor skills, leadership development and team-building. We are happy to design programs for older students in which Glen Bernard staff involvement varies; you specify the parameters from full supervision to supported student leadership.
Glen Bernard is inspected and registered as a private school with the Ontario Ministry of Education. Academic enrichment activities are available in several subject areas and grade levels. Together, we can co-develop curriculum extensions or credit courses that are unique to your school. Click here for samples of curriculum-based activities for students in grades 7 and 8.
