The Theatre Program (for campers entering Grade 8 and older) offers an experience in all aspects of theatrical production. This involves scenery and prop construction, makeup and costume design to complement performance skills.
Campers who participate in the program spend most of their time preparing for major productions that are performed for the entire camp.
Prior experience is not required; however, it is most important to have a special interest in theatre. Because most of the day is taken up with theatre aspects, participation in other camp activities is limited.
Campers who especially love tripping have this opportunity of a 12-day canoe trip. The participants are 14 - 16 years old and the route is unique each year. After two days of in-camp preparation, campers spend a rewarding 12 days on the trip, then return to GBC for our closing events.
